Kinmen Yi Tiao Gen is produced in the village of Jinmen Zhushan, Taiwan. It is a perennial leguminous plant with a main root. The name Yi Tiao Gen is derived from the main root of the plant due to its thickness which can be measured up to 50cm long. The combination of Kinmen’s geography, water environment, soil and climate make it a special agricultural product with therapeutic benefits. According to the traditional drug book, Yi Tiao Gen is warm in nature which can be used to reduce wind and dampness, eliminate phlegm and detoxification, improve blood circulation and generally harvest after three years of plantation and cultivation.
